Personalized Custom Skateboards

If you simply want to create a personalized skateboard, you can visit our main skateboards page, select an existing design and add your own elements using the design tool. However, if you’d like to create a custom skateboard from scratch, you can do so by following the simple guide below.

• Step 1: Select the product type you'd like to design. There are 6 different ‘Deck Types’ to choose from.
• Step 2: Complete the Board – You can add trucks and wheels for an additional $80.40, or you can purchase a deck by itself, it's completely up to you!
• Step 3: Click ‘Customize This Design’ and then add images and text elements in Zazzle's design tool – this is where you'll add your own personal touch to your product!
• Step 4: Click 'Done' and see your final design! You can use the ‘Qty’ drop-down to change the number of skateboard decks, and then hit ‘Add to Cart.’

Choosing the right decks for skateboards is crucial for a personalized and optimal riding experience. Skateboards come in various sizes, typically categorized by deck width. A wider deck, at 8.5 inches, provides more stability and surface area, making it suitable for transition skating and larger riders. On the other hand, narrower decks, around 7.34 inches, are ideal for street skating, technical tricks and smaller riders, offering increased maneuverability. Ultimately, the best size depends on your skating style, preferences and body size – whether you prioritize stability for ramps or agility for street tricks, finding the right dimensions ensures a ride tailored to your individual needs.
