I've recently added some new collections, including the "My Dog, My Responsibility" line, and some new additions for YOUR new additions. You can find my new baby products under "For the little ones..."

Unfortunately, BSL doesn't affect just "Pit Bulls". It affects any dog that has "a majority of the characteristics" of a "Pit Bull," which is misleading in itself. "Pit Bull" is actually a term used to describe three different and distinct breeds: American Staffordshire Terriers (AmStaff), American Pit Bull Terriers (APBT), and Bull Terriers. Most BSL targets "Pit Bulls" and any dog showing "a majority of the characteristics" of "Pit Bulls". The Labrador Retriever Mouspad shows a Lab looking in a mirror, with the breed's AKC standard briefly listed. The standard matches exactly how most people describe a "Pit Bull".

BSL does not work. It punishes the species on the wrong end of the leash. Dangerous Dog Legislation is much more effective, as it often imposes harsh fines and jail time on irresponsible owners. In some cases, it charges them with a felony. Dogs are a product of what is put into them. Training, love, and respect will get you an obedient, loving, respectful dog no matter what the breed. Abuse, neglect, and hate will get you fearful, aggressive, hateful dogs, once again, no matter the breed. If you abuse a Golden Retriever, you will get a mean, fearful, aggresive dog.

BSL doesn't stop with "Pit Bulls". BSL doesn't stop "Pit Bulls". BSL doesn't stop aggressive, dangerous dogs. If it isn't "Pit Bulls" it will be Dobermans, then Rottweilers, the German Shepherds. It will work its way through every breed, until we will have to be content with cats. Wait, they have teeth AND claws. Uh-oh.
