Homophobia Kills

Gay/Bi men are infected with HIV at 50 times the rate of the general population- LGBT teens are much more likely to attempt/commit suicide than their straight counterparts- LGBT people are many times more likely to abuse alcohol and/or drugs.
People are dying of our neglect to specifically address these issues- Ignorance and Homophobia have contributed to this.
It must change. We need effective interventions specifically targeting this community to stop the spread of HIV as well as high rates of teen suicide, drug/alcohol abuse and other problems endemic to the LGBT community.

We need to activate honest empathy, compassion and understanding.

I designed these products as a way of raising awareness, to create understanding and effect change.
Awareness that we are not able, not encouraged or not allowed to talk about the role of homophobia in the death of our community due to suicide, drug/alcohol abuse, violence, neglect, health and mental health issues- that's why I designed these products.

Because it's true.
