DOLPHIN ART - The Art of Gail Dolphin

Hello,

My name is Gail and I am a professional artist and illustrator who has had a passion for animals since I was young girl. I grew up with an assortment of pets and my favorite activity was riding horses. I went on to study Graphic Design and Illustration at Kutztown University in Pennslvania, where my images were always influenced by my love of the outdoors and nature.

After years of owning, riding and working with horses and dogs, they have become my favorite subject. My commissions have ranged from backyard pets such as goats and donkeys, to champion show horses and dogs.

I also love nature illustration and my commercial clients have included The Franklin Mint, Ford Motor Company, Field and Stream Magazine, The Philadelphia Inquirer and The Bradford Exchange.

I enjoy working in a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastel and pencil. It offers my clients many choices and also creates diversity in my work.

I now live and work on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina.
