Erla María is an Icelandic illustrator and animator currently living in Brighton, UK.Erla was born in Paris, where she learned to drink red wine and eat baguette until the age of 5.
Her acquired interest in fine wine and striped pullovers started to worry her parents so they moved her back to the cold island of her origin in the North Atlantic.
After trying to blend in with the rest of the fishermen while finishing her studies in general Design and Art, she disappered for a year. The story has it that she was somewhere hiding in Sweden, growing her own apples and raising leprechauns.
She then suddenly appeared in Italy, hairier and happier than ever before. She enrolled in the fanciest school she could find and chose the most pointless course to attend, multimedia illustration and animation. The school was forced to graduate Erla, she constantly came up with uncomfortable project ideas, wanting to milk women, having Jesus moonwalk and making saints rule the world via mame cabinets.
(keep in mind that she was a barbarian studying in the most catholic place).
.........oh yeah, and she draws also.
