Interesting what you wrote about japanese dialect! In Portugal people talk differently too. In the north and in the centre and in the south. But most words are the same.It's just the sound that changes!:))

By the way, "ora" pronounced means "I" at TOHOKU(afflicted area) .
"I" in English is "watashi" in TOKYO JAPAN is "ora" in TOHOKU JAPAN.
my uncle ,aunt and relatives referring to himself as "ora" or "ore".
It is dialect accent at TOHOKU JAPAN, most japanes know.
Most japanese can place someone by their speech.
