I am a lifelong Cowboys fan, but my family is from Michigan...I feel sorry for you hopeless Lion fans. As long as Millen and Ford are running that ship, the Lions will be 21st century version of the 90's Bengals and the 80's Bucs. I totally agree with shaking thngs up here in Motown. Like previously mentioned, Detroit Michigan is a die hard sports town. I Love all Detroit teams so much I even have a Michigan, Red Wings, Tigers, and yes a Lions tattoo on my chest. I've heard comments on staging a "walk-out" or a "boycott" on Lions games but why not hurt the Ford's where it matters most, STOP BUYING FORD AUTOMOBILES!!! i am a new fan of the detroit lions, the main reason being i was raised in a detroit team loving home/ im a big hokcey fan, and i know baseball, so i am naturally a wings and tigers fan/ not too much into basketball, so could care less, but still go for pistons/ mike illitch wants to improve detroits downtown, and he is making his best efforts for it to happen/ and his teams actually win/ even the pistons are contenders, so maybe its time that illitch and willy davidson got together and bought the team/ and hire someone like, o, i dont kno, rich mckay/ i kno it seems like a stab in the dark, but if ford can utilize his money properly, it just could happen/ as well, in no offense to kitna, but the team needs a REAL starting qb/ they might of had one if that turd millen hadnt looked over leinart or cutler

I have sat and read a number of postings and have seen where a lot of people are coming from. I am a 27 year old man who has been a Lions fan since I knew what football was. And guess what we, have had one playoff win and that was against Dallas when I was like 13. I have endured the most painful thing I think I have ever seen in football and that is to see the career of the greatest running back ever, well maybe LT after this season, get wasted and management not once try to build a team around him. I get to see it happen again but this time with talent like Roy Williams, Ernie Sims, and now this year another tradgedy in the making? Detroit is the only place where the GM can never have previous experience at that capacity and lead a team to horrid records every year and get a contract extension. Please does Matty really have something that good over the Ford family? But really the key here is Mr. Clay Ford and my appeal to him is if you don't want to put the effort into something that means so much to so many well then SELL, give it to someone who does care. Hell let me try I don't have any experience in this capacity but it didn't stop you before. I sure can't do any worse now can I.? I will forever hold the faith that someday I can hold my chest out high and be proud of my football team.

Look,everybody in the world knows that Millen will be back next year so let's not try to fight him and be against him because I think if you continue to do this I think he will purposely try to ruin the team instead of just accidently doing it. Let's try a new approach. I say we encourage him to draft the right players and turn the team around the right way instead of his way,which is obviously the wrong way. No one should be bashing Marinelli or Martz or Priefier. These are 3 of the best coaches in the NFL and they have nothing to do with the losing. Detroit does not have the right players to win. The O-line has been different in almost everygame due to injury and you wonder why kitna is pressured. The root of the problem Millen walking in with his head up his ass and trying to tell these amzing coaches what to do and its bull shit. Marinelli, Martz, and Preifier will and should be long term Investments in Lions future. Lay off the coach, bash the shit out of millen and talked about the player problems. Marinelli doesn't make excuses but he has alot of injuries wear he can't afford them.
