Did you really believe he was in there?

Lighten up
The Media is the only one that took us all for a ride on this one! He's in the balloon, wait, it was a basket, wait, it was a box. Go Falcon Go, is a dream we all have to get away from societies forced beliefs by the idiotic media.

this is hilarious that people are so angry over this. there was absolutely no way that the balloon could have lifted that kid, or kept flying as level as it did with 50+ lbs of weight in it. take a physics class and learn to laugh. also, this was made as a joke, and the whole country picked it up. haha. smile!
iloveyourshirt said 10/15/2009
C'mon. This is all a big publicity stunt. The balloon wouldn't have enough helium to lift a boy in the 1st place. And now that dad actually sends his own iReport to CNN. The question should they foot the bill for all the rescue effort that was put into this elaborate scam?

already old news
Can you design a shirt that says:
"Falcon and the Snowjob" or "Cowers in the Attic?"
Lyndajanehi said 10/15/2009
Has anyone thought that this whole thing is a publicity stunt. I mean the parents knew that the balloon couldnt hold a person and there wasnt a box on the bottom. So maybe it was just a way to get thier invention in the news or make money, like these shirts, I mean come on... Thats my Question....

Found.
It's called having a concience, not being on a high horse.
http://edition.cnn.com/2009/US/10/15/colorado.boy.balloon/index.html The boy is alive. Knock yourselves out.

haha
yep, he was found alive....but I don't think you're going to make much profit at all on this shirt, it wasn't that big of a deal, get over yourself.
Vivian_Da_Silva said 10/15/2009
well, yourself.
Kid was found alive. He never got in the box. I guess your little hipster-hustle is irrelevant now. GTFO, yourself.

RE: LOL
Henryhai> How is it NOT serious when a 6-y/o boy goes missing after its presumed that he trapped himself in a homemade balloon and flew 10,000 ft. in the air for a few miles and may or may not be alive?! Honestly, i would buy this shirt too but not as a joke! As a commemoration to a young boy trying to have adventure, sure. As a memorial (knock on wood), perhaps. But again, I think its legitimate to be concerned of how someone may be trying to turn his own profit in the name of it.
To the printers:
Tell me where the money is going. If proceeds are going to A) Falcon & his family or B) charity on behalf of the sciences, I'll be the first to order one in a small.

Henryhai
IT IS A CHILD, sociopath. Serious? It is another human being. Are you seriously disturbed? It's not a videogame, you troll.
Henryhai said 10/15/2009
LOL
god it makes me laugh how serious people are taking this. i would buy this shirt, but it amuses me. im guessing thats the idea, not to sell millions, just as a laugh?
Mocksoup said 10/15/2009
Are you insane?
They haven't found the child, and they think another compartment fell off with the child inside. You are one really sick individual.

Not Yours To Profit Off
I have to agree with chocobabi's sentiment. Also, where exactly are the profits for this idea going? To science institutes that study avionics? To charities that promote science studies to kids? If Falcon is found and injured, will you donate to cover his costs in the hospital? If little falcon is not found, will you donate the proceeds to his family to cover the cost of his services?
I hope you have answers for this because I would find it unethical if you genuinely thought this was your chance to turn a profit off of the potential demise of a young boy.
chocobabi said 10/15/2009
Umm...
What is wrong with you? The kid hasnt even been found yet, and you are already trying to cash in on this? You need help and maybe a conscience to boot.
