Indiana Equality is dedicated to securing basic rights for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered (LGBT) Hoosiers.

IE has two primary objectives:
(1) to amend Indiana’s Civil Rights law to protect against sexual orientation or gender identify discrimination and
(2) to ensure that LGBT relationships are not outlawed by an amendment to the State Constitution – such as those proposed by Indiana Marriage Discrimination Amendment known as House Joint Resolution 6 (HJR-6)
