Invitations should be in the mail no less than two weeks before the party, but no sooner than eight weeks. Generally speaking, a good time frame is between three to five weeks before the party or when you know all the party's details.

It depends on the invitation. Most of our standard invitations have the option of coming with white envelopes or none, others come automatically with white envelopes included in the price. Some of our Thanksgiving invitations come in a postcard format, and as such, negate the need for envelopes altogether.
