Growing up, going to art school and starting his graphic design career all in the 80’s has had a definite influence on John Nissen’s art style. He has always loved the Punk and New Wave musical and visual styles of that time in pop-culture history. Also living in Seattle in the early to mid 90’s in the middle of that exciting music scene positioned him to create album covers, logos and t-shirt art for some of the bands and record labels of that era. He worked for such bands as MxPx, Blenderhead and Tragedy Ann and for labels like Tooth and Nail and Bettie Rocket to name a few. He continues to work as an Art Director for an agency in Salem, Oregon and dabbles in his spare time with Zazzle for fun. I hope you like what you see here in his store and that you find something to purchase.
