Ocean Fish Paintings

I like to paint subjects I care deeply about... fish! And corals and anemones and crabs and shrimp and pretty much any creature of the deep.

With my artwork I look to explore the more intricate parts of the sea, the intriguing, intimate, and odd behaviors of aquatic life. You won’t find mega underwater seascapes here. Instead you’ll discover the personalities, form and function of fish living in our precious seas as well as aquariums around the world.

I’m just starting out and am trying to keep up with my always active imagination but here are some things you can plan to see me working on in the near future:

* Fearful Symmetry Series - A look into the fish and invertebrates that tend to be aggressive and feared by fish and aquarists alike.

* Clownfish Series - Since finding Nemo everyone is in love with clownfish! This series will take a look at a broad range of anemonefish (more commonly known as clownfish) and the interesting behaviors they possess.
