Hello Wedding Girl

I'm so pleased you loved your envelopes. Aren't they fab. Red is my favorite color, thus my little red Ladiebug. I actually run a test print of my custom colors before posting them. I make a lot of my things for myself, i.e. the new dragons with, you guessed it, red. Well ... Zazzle doesn't make A8's and I've actually looked online for lined ones and found only foil. Alas it wasn't a holiday. I wish I could tell you where to find some. I do appreciate the feed back. I adore compliments. Thank you ever so, Ladiebug

Hummingbird

We have had a Hummingbird feeder for years and for the first time, I saw one perch on the feeder while I just happened to be standing in the window four feet away. It's a little female. We changed the nectar last night, so I now know when to hover around the feeder. When she landed, other than my jaw dropping, I froze. Tiny feet, long slender beak, smooth and one memorable moment. Oh my, she just flew up and perched again. That's it, time to get the camera and stake out the feeder. Success ... click on the photo and don't move the cursor to see it large.

Joan of Arc

The image is from my mother's now digital art collection that she acquired during her study of art history for a PHD from various sources, museum archives, actual photographs, etc. and with my graphic design knowledge I was able to fine tune it. Plus she took me to see it so I know exactly what it looks like. I can recall what it looked like hanging on the museum wall as I type. Magnificent. You have made an excellent choice Mr. Teacher.

Hi Ladybug, I just ordered a huge size print on canvas that I plan on framing. I saw it was by Ladybug, so I clicked your name to see what that meant. I thought the painting was by Bastien Lepage, but you do nice work also. Just kidding. I assume your name is there because you uploaded the image to Zazzle. Thenk you. I am looking forward to getting this. I am curious how you could obtain such a high quality image that is capable of reproducing this painting on such a large scale. Where did it come from? I would think that the Metropolitan would guard their paintings closely, but perhaps this is something that they share freely. Thanks. Just wondering. Jeffrey

This is really a tough decision. The basic poster has a nice satin finish that will look closest to the image you see, matte will be a hint deeper in tone. I personally am a matte finish girl.

My apology for the wait .... everything halts for Mother's Day weekend. I would email you, but fear of viruses stop me. Thoughtful gift idea. For the painted reproduction make sure you have an exact sample due to varying tones and hues. As for my image, it is from my mother's now digital, art collection. She has a PHD in art history. Her studies span over forty years, during which time she has acquired images through several sources such as students, museum archives and photos taken before the ravages of time that for instance, cause loss of pigmentation. ( Mother actually has this one in her home). As for my prints appearance, nobody has returned one yet, and I've been here well over a year. I recommend the poster paper, it has a nice satin finish and spare no expense on the frame to match her decor. If you want to be a stickler for detail, the original is 20 x 22 in inches and you can get that by customizing easily. I hope this helps. Which ever you select, I am sure your girlfriend will be thrilled on so many levels. "Riding Couple" is an excellent choice. Sincerely, Ladiebug

Hi, I was planning on getting a copy of Kandinsky's Riding Couple for the birthday of my girlfriend, and had looked into a painted reproduction because I remember the quality of paint gave it such a unique feel I was afraid would be lost in printing. You get wonderful reviews and as a photographer, I understand how your background as a graphic designer would enable you to know the full range of prints results- I'd be curious to know your process, how you acquire or print the image, and anything else about what it would ultimately look like on a wall.
