I'm a Sydney-ite who loves design and photography. I no longer work fulltime as a Visual Arts teacher which gives me free time to enjoy creating and making. Happiness is a Wacom tablet and a large collection of drawing media!
I am a self-confessed Photoshop addict and font-aholic and am currently teaching myself Illustrator to learn how to create vector images. I love experimenting digitally and learning new methods to express my ideas. One thing tends to lead to another which makes the design process so much fun. Process becomes product! I like to incorporate some of the drawn images in the work I design.
My little corner of the Zazzle universe tends to reflect a Geminian bent. Photography rubs shoulders with Keds shoes which I have found to be great fun to design. Mugs rub shoulders with t-shirts and so it goes. My style tends to fluctuate from one thing to another depending on mood and interest. I am rarely consistent.
A favourite quote from the always entertaining Oscar Wilde: Consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative.
I can relate to that. My excuse anyway ;)
My husband and I love to travel. Armed with my new Canon Rebel 450D, I tend to photograph anything that stands still long enough to allow me to do so. Landscapes, portraits, flowers and insects are favourite subjects. Derelict factories, rusted objects, urban decay make interesting subjects also. I hope to add more photographic products as time goes by.
I took time off from Zazzle-ing to focus on other things but it is great to be back making and doing.
The shop is getting a facelift. I hope to get it up to speed by Christmas with many new products on offer.
Thank you for your interest and happy Zazzle-ing to you all :)
