My name is Mark Satchwill and I currently reside in Watford in the U.K.

After completing school and 'A' levels, I took a years Foundation Course at Stevenage College, then a Degree Course in Graphic Design (Illustration) at Leeds. I have had two successful solo exhibitions, one in 2000 at Adonis Art in London, the second in 2006 at the Flavel Centre in Dartmouth, and my work has been bought by collectors both here and abroad.

I work almost exclusively in watercolour (though I occasionally work in gouache) and paint all types of subject matter, from portraits and florals to landscapes. I find inspiration from all sorts of places - from books and films, music and history and from the world I experience around me.
