Miskela's Gallery
Hey everyone!
I'm a huge fan of stationery. I mean HUGE. I love writing letters, I love reading cards, and I even have boxes of cards that I've kept for years just waiting to use the perfect card for the perfect occasion. One of my favorite all-time designers of cards is Shoebox, so I wanted to take that kind of humor (which is my kind of humor) and insert a little faith.
As I've perused the greeting card aisle in my local drug store or Hallmark card store, I've noticed that the "religious" cards are these stodgy old things with plenty of high-falutin' words and flowery lettering. They're not bad, and there's definitely a place for those kinds of cards, but I'm a modern girl who loves Jesus and also loves to write chick lit.
So the writing style of my cards is new and fun. And it shows that you can follow Christ and enjoy a good laugh, all at the same time.
Thanks for reading and check back often because you never know when I'm going to get a wild hair and create a new design. I have plenty in the ol' thinker!
Apparently, my creativity knows no bounds because I just put up a t-shirt, too. I see how this gets going. Crazy!
