The Ravelry Knitters for Obama group just completed our first charity knitting project during the primary season and we are now gearing up for the general election. Over the past few months knitters and crocheters from all over the country lovingly crafted and donated 1,030+ preemie hats and baby bibs to local hospitals and clinics. During the general election we will be knitting hats, scarves, and other items for homeless veterans shelters.
