Why? Epilepsy affects over 65 million people worldwide. It's time to get the facts and spread the word.

Why Purple? Purple is the internationally recognized colour for epilepsy.

it's that important
Purple Day
I was recently introduced to Purple Day. I am very excited to participate. My husband and I recently married. We bought a lot of Epilepsy bracelet's and had people donate money and then take a bracelet. They were red. I wish they could have been purple. As long as the support is the same, that's what is important.

I only just found out about purple day, it is such a wonderful idea...I have previously had epilepsy as a child and understand exactly how people with epilepsy feel, we are just like everyone else and shouldn't be ashamed of this. everyone should definitely be more aware of it. It's amazing too purple is my fav colour.
