Queen gold crown tiara brooch sewing pattern fabric
This is a sewing pattern with 24 Queen of Hearts gold crown tiara, washable, sewn, fabric brooches WITH instruction ON the fabric! This is perfect to give a swatch as gift to a seamstress, quilter, or crafter, or make it and give the brooch as a gift! You can buy the whole yard, and have a brooch making party! The Queen of Hearts gold crown tiara was made by me, Kristie Hubler, in October 2001, for my fabricatedframes.com customer's dog Queenie's fabric photo frame, where I handpainted my cleaned up sketch of the crown, which I designed on tracing paper, and transferred onto satin using an iron on ink transfer, painting the iron on ink onto the back of my tracing paper design, and ironing it onto the satin fabric, then hand painting, filling the design in with the fluid 2 ounce bottles of acrylic paint mixed with Textile medium paint. The crown design was my first fabric sale on http://spoonflower.com/fabric/1371922, in a repeat pattern! ALL of the instructions, extra tools, extra supplies are ON the fabric! The pin back is removable, you get all 4 panel part patterns on each 9x9" swatch, 6 brooch patterns per fat quarter, 24 brooch patterns per yard. With the 4 panel part patterns, 2 panels make the finished front panel with the crown on the front, and 2 panels make the finished back panel that both have the 2 circle holes marked on them, that you hole punch or cut out with a small, pointy, embroidery pair of scissors (invest in them, you won't be disappointed - I bought mine from Michaels for $5.40 using their 40% off coupon years ago) You can use hot glue and a low temp glue gun, with Thermoweb backing the fabric swatch, to join all of the 4 finished, Thermoweb backed fabric panel part patterns, instead of sewing, in case you don't have a sewing machine. This fabric, which you can buy as a 9x9" swatch to make ONE washable, sewn, fabric, fashion brooch pin, repeats as 24 brooch pattern cut and sew swatches, but you can buy ONE swatch to make ONE brooch. All you would need to buy for one swatch to make one brooch: white thread 9" x 9" Thermoweb Heat n Bond - a fusible web that is a paper backed, iron on, fabric adhesive -you can buy this at Michaels by the 17" wide by 5 yard roll for $8.99 MINUS the 50% off store coupon for $4.49, at JoAnn Fabrics by the 1/4" yard or 9" high by 17" wide for under $1, or AC Moore by the 17" wide by 5 yard roll, or Walmart, try Target, or thermowebonline.com by the yard package or roll -pack of bar style 1 3/4" stainless steel pin backs, 10, 44, 48 pack in AC Moore, Michaels, JoAnn Fabrics If you buy a fat quarter with 6 brooch patterns, buy 2 feet or 2/3 yard by 17" of Thermoweb If you buy the whole yard with 24 brooch patterns, buy the roll of Thermoweb You can buy Thermoweb Heat n Bond Ultrahold, which is acid free, or their Heat n Bond Lite - your choice THANK YOU!
