Cute shirt, terrible sizing chart

The color I chose was purple, but it's dangerously close to pink, which I'm not a fan of. When I went to order this shirt, I looked at the sizing chart. It made no sense. I am a 5'2", petite, 107 lbs female who is too small for many A cup bras. Your sizing chart said that, according to my measurements (which I triple checked), I'm a 1/2 in bigger than your 2XL in the waist and I'm an XL in the chest. Riiiiight. So, I just randomly chose a large, figuring that if it was too small or too large, at least I'd have a starting point for knowing what to exchange it for. My shirt arrived yesterday and fits pretty nicely. So, my normal size shirt would have been wrong and your sizing chart was completely off, so is everyone just supposed to guess and hope they get lucky like I did? Nevertheless, I lucked out with my size choice, I love the design of my shirt, and the color is tolerable, though I'd prefer that it was more clearly purple/lavender/lilac.
About the print:
I think the printing turned out well. The only thing I noticed is that, because I ordered 2 different shirts with the same design on them, you could see that they weren't centered the same. One seemed to be centered on the monster figure and the other seemed centered on the words. To my friend, when the monster wasn't centered, the overall design didn't look centered. To me, when the words weren't centered, the overall design didn't look centered. So, I'm not sure which is better or worse, but I thought it was odd that they weren't centered the same.
