About

A native of Seattle, Washington, I began creating original art at an early age. After graduating from the University of WA with a BA in Art/Textile Design, I developed a unique textile based business that specialized in jewelry and Fiber Art . Returning to school, I received an AAAS in Graphic Design from Shoreline CC in 1999. Studies and travels in Mexico and Spain have been an inspiring influence.Combining traditional, fine art techniques with modern computer technology is a creative challenge I am continually exploring and developing. My strong sense of color, combined with textures creates a rich effect in all of my work. Watercolor, gauche, oil pastel, colored pencil, ink, oil and multimedia collage are some of the traditional medias I choose to work in. Recently I have begun exploring transferring my art work onto fabric for silk scarfs , wearables and home decor. These new creations will be available thru DENTALIUM DESIGN online store this summer. I have been working with my father famed industrial designer Gideon Kramer, for the last several years to produce and publish a very spectaular, unique book about his life and design work which will be published by the OM Press which I co-founded with my father last year. Expected publication is this fall. I helped to produce his one man retrospective March 2010 at the COCA Gallery in Seattle, WA. I have shown my work locally and nationally, and have been featured in local and national publications, including television. I work out of my design studio in Mukilteo, Washington and am the founder and principal of LK Graphics Art Images specializing in graphic art /design as well as multimedia and web development. Clients include non-profits, government, photographers, artists and small businesses.I received the "Crown in Town" award for Best Graphic and Web Design for the City of Seattle in 2011. I opened the 3rd Street Gallery in Mukilteo, WA last December. The current show features a father daughter exhibit with my art prints and my fathers prints and sculptures. The exhibit will remain up into the fall as a tribute to this incredible man who was my father, mentor, teacher and inspiration (1917-2012).
