SAFE Global Candlelight Vigil for the Iraq Museum

These commemorative items are offered in conjunction with the SAFE Global Candlelight Vigil for the Iraq Museum, to mark the April 2003 looting of the Museum.

Initiated and organized by SAFE/Saving Antiquities for Everyone (savingantiquities.org), the nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving cultural heritage worldwide, the event brings individuals around the world together to send a clear message that the ravaging of Iraq's cultural heritage--the world's cultural heritage--must come to an end.

Proceeds will support SAFE projects and programs such as lesson plans and a teacher's manual for The World's Ancient Cultures in Danger Map (offered here).
