Yantra Tattoos

There are many tattoos from many different traditions all over the world and one of the most fascinating kinds of tattoo out there are yantra tattoos. Yantra tattoos are tattoos from Cambodia, but far from being used as body art or as method of decoration, these tattoos are instead meant to protect the bearer from harm. There is a long tradition of Cambodian soldiers receiving them, and it was thought that wear a yantra tattoo was to be protected from all harm, whether that harm came from hostile soldiers or evil spirits.
