Four Temperaments
In the 20th century C. G. Jung created the four basic functions sensing, intuition, thinking and feeling and combined these with the concept of introversion and extraversion. The resulting eight psychological types were the basis of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Keirsey Temperament Sorter.
