The Dancer (1874) by Edgar Degas is a vintage impressionist fine art portrait painting. A beautiful ballet dancer in repose, stretching before a performance. Study of a ballerina wearing a tutu dress with her hands behind her head. Earthy beige and brown warm colors and tones. About the artist: Edgar Degas (1834-1917) is regarded as one of the founders of Impressionism although he preferred realism and to be called a realist. Degas is especially identified with the subject of ballet dance, and over half his works depict dancers.

I used this napkin for a topper on top of a beige table cloth on
a high top table at a cocktail party in our garden. It was beautiful and we all loved how it looked. The fabric is thick and lovely...now I just have to see if the red wine and bird poop washed out, since it was under a tree!! :-). It looked fine. I had no words printed on it but the artwork itself looked very professional and lovely!

Love these! They are the prettiest and most versatile cloth cocktail napkins I ever purchased. At first I thought, pricey for just four, however once I received them I couldn't believe how large they were. The could be folded in half or quarters. So classic. The impressionistic theme makes them perfect for any occasion where to want to serve someone with a memorable napkin. The printing was great! vibrant and eye catchy . The details from the art really translate well on to the cloth.
