WORD Clouds

THE WORD BECAME FLESH AND DWELT AMONG US!!

The Word of God, the Bible, is a wonderful source of inspiration and, in this case, artwork -- text based artwork. I take well-known and other powerful sections of scripture such as John 3:16 and Psalm 23 and create Word clouds from the content words. I take out all prepositions, articles, modals and the most common words and arrange them in a pattern. To be honest, I use software to accomplish this.

Then, I make different versions because I find numerous ways to be creative with these Word clouds. Most of this time this means using a different background but it also means varying the Word cloud pattern I make, the font I use, and the colors I use. Once each piece is finished, I can place it on an assortment of Zazzle products. My favorites are posters, mugs, clothing, and cards but you can find them on other things as well.

Look over on the right sidebar. You can see how all the items in this gallery are organized. The first level is by Scripture reference. When you click on a Scripture reference you can then see the range of products offered with those designs. Keep checking back because on a regular basis I add new ones.

Our church is one four Christian church buildings allowed by the government in this Moslem country. Because of this our building is used by 25 different Christian congregations from Africa, Asia and the Middle East including ours which is pastored by folks with TEAM missions. They don’t all meet on Sunday. In fact, our worship day is Friday! At the same time our congregation is meeting in the largest sanctuary, a few others are meeting in other rooms and even hallways upstairs. Then, as soon as we finish we have to clear out quickly because a Philippine church uses the sanctuary next.
