As your Save the Dates are sent out 6 to 8 months before the wedding, your guests will have your wedding date remembered and noted, which gives you less time pressure on sending out your wedding invitations.

Depending on the formality, your parents' names can be included, too. Additional details include the dress code, transportation information, meal choices, and reception information, and a note whether children are welcome or it's a child-free wedding can be added to the back of the invitation or in an enclosure card. Shipping rates vary by speed, with Standard being the most affordable (a 4 to 7 business day turnaround after manufacturing is complete). Zip and Zip PLUS are the most expensive, but your order will be prioritized in production, so you’ll receive your invitations within 1 to 2 business days. Depending on the size and timeline of your big day, a wedding website may be useful to advise on things like travel, accommodation, venue details, and more in-depth timings regarding the schedule of events. You could also include a link to the gift registry and the story of how you both met.

To add a QR code to your wedding invite, enter our design tool by clicking ‘Personalize this Design,’ then go to the ‘Elements’ option on the left toolbar. Scroll to the bottom of this list to see the ‘Add QR Code’ button and input the URL of your wedding website. Then hit ‘Submit’ and you’ll generate a unique QR code. Scan it using the camera function on your phone to ensure recipients will be directed to the correct site.

Letterpress and foil are two different types of specialty finish for our print invites, and digital invitations are a virtual alternative. Because letterpress printing is intricate and foil printing adds an extra metallic layer to your design, they’ll come with extra cost. With digital invitations, or in our case Instant Downloads, there’s a set price per downloadable template. For formal weddings, elaborate wedding invitations that include varied printing styles would be customary, but for a small micro wedding, a digital invitation may be the way to go as you can send it to more than one family at a time.
