What are Instant Downloads?

As the name implies, you can optionally sell your existing and future designs digitally on a select set of popular products (i.e., wedding announcements, invitations, greeting cards, posters, and prints). We've studied customer behavior and noticed many are seeking Content -- today. Their event or occasion might be just around the corner, and they seek new ways to share with their loved ones. We want you to grow your business and Instant Downloads presents an easy opportunity for you to sell Content printed, digitally, or both providing you with a fantastic way to widen your appeal to more customers. Correspondingly, Royalties on digital products will emphasize the value of your Content.

As always, we want to empower you to change those defaults and adjust pricing based on what you feel is suitable for your content. All Instant Downloads will enforce a minimum royalty of 5%. You can adjust Digital Royalties by using the existing edit product interface individually per product.

How can my Content be made available for Instant Download?

During the post for sale flow, you will be able to offer instant downloads. If you choose to opt out, you can do that as well by disabling.

If enabled, when a Customer comes across your product listing, they can have the opportunity to purchase the printed product, the Instant Download, or both. You will receive the corresponding Royalty for each. In addition, you can always earn more referring sales. Click here to learn how to become an Ambassador! Your Royalty and Earnings Report will reflect sales and payments according to our current payout schedule.

When a Zazzle customer purchases an Instant Download, they will receive a personal use license to your Content so that they may personalize it and download a flat file (.pdf, .png, or .jpg) to celebrate life’s moments. We believe Instant Downloads will be perfect for customers who need a way to quickly send a virtual greeting or DIY print at home -- especially if they are pressed for time!
