If you have a sweet tooth, minimal crafting skills, and a desire to impress, you’re going to love this DIY project. Here we’ll show you how to create colorful candy kabobs perfect to serve at parties or give as favors for bridal showers, birthdays, or holidays. This specific DIY is for an Easter celebration!
So, pick out your favorite sweets and follow these simple steps to create your own Easter candy kabob!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Bamboo Skewers
- Colorful Gummy Candy
- Marshmallows
- Zazzle Custom Stickers
Here’s how you do it:
1. Begin by taking a bamboo skewer and piercing pieces of candy or marshmallow through it. Make sure to leave enough room on the end of the skewer for the sticker embellishment and a handle.
2. Continue this step with sweets at random or create a pattern alternating colors. When the skewer is almost full, top with a decorative confection.
3. When the candy portion of the project is complete, add the sticker embellishment by sandwiching the skewer between two stickers. Do this by placing the center of a sticker to the skewer and then placing another to the back side of the skewer (adhesive sides together), making sure the edges are aligned.
Display the candy kabobs and watch friends and family enjoy the treat!
