Why Order Gifts on Zazzle?
Want something you can’t find anywhere else for the person who already has everything? Zazzle has thousands of unique products and dozens of official partnerships with the world’s biggest brands, including DC Comics, Peanuts, and Sesame Street. Need your present in a hurry? Next-day delivery is an option for last-minute gifts, while unlimited shipping within 2 to 3 business days is $49.95 per year with Zazzle Plus Premium. Opting for our Worry-Free Design Review and Delivery also guarantees a refund, replacement, or account credit if your recipient isn’t satisfied with their gift.
Top Gift Ideas
- Mugs: Mug designs are easy to adapt, depending on the relationship. Add a favorite honeymoon photo to a mug for your spouse, or put a sarcastic quote on your coworker’s tumbler.
- Ornaments: Ornaments are an effective way to commemorate two events at once, such as Christmas and a recent engagement. Gift pouches are available as add-ons to enhance the presentation and protect the porcelain finish on our ceramic ornaments.
- Posters: Posters can be a personal present when bought for someone else, as it may well be hanging on their bedroom wall. Think about the person’s favorite art style, destination, or franchise beforehand to make sure they actually use it.
- T-Shirts: Zazzle’s t-shirts are true to size from Small to 6XL, aside from our slim fit tees. If you’re unsure of the person’s size and don’t want to ask, the larger size is always more wearable. Dark colors are also a safer bet than bright, loud colors when buying for someone else.
- Pillows: Use your knowledge of the person’s current décor to find an accent that fits with their aesthetic or color scheme.
Frequently Asked Questions about Gifts
How long does Zazzle shipping take?
Standard shipping takes 4 to 7 business days, Premium takes 2 to 3 business days, and Express takes 1 to 2 business days. Any weekday that isn’t a U.S. federal holiday is considered a "business day." Production times vary between products, but our Zip and Zip PLUS services can reduce manufacturing time frames to anywhere between 6 hours and 1 day, depending on which Zip service you select and the time you place your order. This means your item will be fast-tracked to you within 1 or 2 business days total, from order to delivery.
Is Zazzle Plus worth it for a one-time order?
For a single order, Zazzle Plus can absolutely be worth it, especially given the free 30-day trial. Sign up as you place your order, and you’ll get free Standard shipping right away, with no charge until the trial ends. After the 30 days, Zazzle Plus is $19.95 per year for unlimited Standard shipping. Zazzle Plus Premium is $49.95 per year for unlimited Premium shipping, but there’s no free trial period for this tier. Even occasional shoppers find that the service pays for itself after just one or two orders, particularly when paired with exclusive monthly offers and early sale access. On average, Zazzle Plus subscribers save $25 per year, and Zazzle Plus Premium members save $100.
Can I return or exchange a gift I received?
Yes, though returns must be initiated by the person who gave you the gift, since the purchase is linked to their Zazzle account. If your gift is damaged, defective, or the wrong size, they can request a refund, replacement, or account credit on your behalf within 30 days of delivery. They just need to send a video or photo corroborating their claim to our Customer Support team. If Worry-Free Design Review and Delivery was selected at checkout, then the gift can be returned for any reason within 30 days. Replacement can be shipped to your [the recipient’s] address, but credit will be issued to the buyer’s Zazzle account and refunds will be made to their original payment method.
How early should I place my order?
In general, we recommend placing your order 3 weeks in advance. This gives you ample time to wrap your present, find an accompanying card, or forward it to the recipient, as well as to check that everything’s in order with the finished product. For Valentine’s Day on February 14th, make sure to have your order in by January 24th. For Mother’s Day on May 9th in 2027, place your order by April 18th. Just work back 3 weeks from the deadline to get your order cut-off point. For Christmas and during our peak holiday season, we suggest ordering 4 weeks in advance and checking the relevant courier's website for a breakdown of their final send-by dates. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are the best days to order because of our seasonal discounts.
Who produces my order: the Independent Creators or Zazzle?
Production is handled by Zazzle’s own manufacturing team or by our partner facilities across the U.S. and overseas. The artwork and customizable templates you see on our marketplace are uploaded by a community of artists known as Independent Creators. When you adapt their template or request that their design be printed on Zazzle’s products, they receive a royalty fee for their contribution. However, it’s Zazzle that’s responsible for fulfilling the order and shipping it to you. Furthermore, all customer service queries are handled in-house and you won’t have to deal with each Creator individually.
How do promotional discounts work on Zazzle?
Promotional discounts run all year round on Zazzle. Each time you visit the site, the promotions running that day will be highlighted in the blue strip at the top of the page. Then, each time you click on a product, any relevant discounts will be automatically applied. The code linked to each discount will appear in your cart when you check out, so you don’t need to remember it or type it in. Quantity discounts are also available and will be noted in the ‘Qty:’ dropdown menu in blue font. Promotional and bulk discounts can’t be combined; only the discount that saves you more will be applied.
Are all gifts customizable?
Everything on Zazzle is customizable, though some restrictions may apply in the following cases. First, embossers and letterpress templates can be personalized with your name, address, and dates. However, because embossing and letterpressing are complex printing techniques with strict design limitations, you won’t be able to edit everything. This is to prevent you from adding or removing any element that would make the card unprintable or render the embosser unusable. Second, colleges, Greek organizations, and other licensed brands may ‘lock’ their official artwork: this is indicated by a padlock symbol next to that component in the ‘Layers’ section of the design tool. Finally, our Independent Creators may also do this to protect fundamental parts of the design, which, if deleted, would be difficult to recreate accurately.
How do I cancel my order?
If you wish to cancel an order, you may cancel it yourself through your Zazzle account’s Order History within the first hour. After the initial hour has passed, you can click the ‘Ask Zee’ button, also on this page, and state that you’d like to cancel an order, quoting the Order ID. If the order hasn’t yet entered our production stream, the transaction will ‘drop off’ and disappear from your payment history. If the order has entered our manufacturing queue, then the funds will be refunded to you, which can take 3 to 5 business days. Once the order has shipped, a cancellation will no longer be possible, but the order can be canceled at any point in the manufacturing process prior to that.
What other products can I get to go with my gift?
- Wrapping Paper: Our wrapping paper is sold in rolls between 6 and 60 feet long, or in sheets of 3 that measure 19.5 inches x 28.5 inches. Because the sheets lie flat, they don’t curl, store easily, and produce less waste. For larger gifts, the rolls offer better value thanks to their extra width and length.
- Cards: Including a card with your gift allows you to explain the intent behind it or share the story of how you chose that gift. It also identifies the sender clearly and helps personalize otherwise generic gifts, like gift cards.
- Gift Bags: If you find it difficult to wrap gifts, a gift bag is another way to preserve a present and increase anticipation for its reveal. They’re particularly useful for awkwardly shaped gifts and can even be reused more than once.
