I am a Permanent Resident of Canada who has lived in Kobe, Japan for 18 years and then moved to Canada. I currently reside in Toronto, Ontario, and I am a survivor of the Great Hanshin Earthquake back in 1995, which has caused 6,500 deaths. As a survivor of the earthquake, I truly feel the need to raise funds to help the victims of the Tohoku Earthquake, which is a much more devastating earthquake than what I have experienced.
