I am a self-taught artist from Memphis, Tennessee. Evoking emotion is my primary purpose when creating art. My inspiration comes from all around me, the good and the bad. Capturing an image allows me to tell a story and convey the passion I feel when I am creating art. Not only do I want to capture beautiful objects, but grab hold of the beauty in the ordinary. I am privileged to have my artwork has been featured in the Museum of Non-Visible Art 2017 Biennial. I have received Special Recognition for my painting and photography in multiple international juried exhibitions. Also, my work is in many private collections around the world. I am thankful for each and every collector. My experience extends to oil painting, pastels, photography, and digital art. Different mediums allow me to express different ideas. I bring my passion for photography into my oil paintings to create digital art. I continue to experiment with image creation, both in the studio and digitally. I am currently accepting commissions.
