About

Philly-born guitarist/singer/writer/producer Chuck Schaeffer spent most of his musical career as a backup guitarist for many big "rock and roll stars". It wasn't long before the "pony-tailed maniac" soon gained the reputation as the guy with the uncanny ability to play almost anything with anybody. With the release of "Uncommon Sense", he finally breaks out on his own with the Chuck Schaeffer Band, wisely using the opportunity to show off his scalding, bluesy guitar, his smoky voice and his contagious songs. The plan was to always surround himself with as many exceptionally talented people as humanly possible. It just so happens that they are also long-time friends: Larry Kessler on piano and Hammond organ, Bob Martorella on drums and percussion, Steve Eisenberg on bass and vocals. The end product is the Chuck Schaeffer Band, melting face on a stereo near you. Chuck is also serious about his trademark guitar sound. He exclusively plays Parker Guitars, uses only Digitech Effects, and absolutely swears by Dean Markley Blue Steel strings . Chuck Schaeffer Band is produced utilizing ProTools LE7. No drum machines, sequencers or synthesizers were used on these recordings. It's Rock and Roll. So CRANK IT UP!
