Mr. Polo has specialized in all the aspects of marketing and advertising for tourism. As Writer and cartoonist, José Emilio Polo_Madero has extensive experience in translating from English to Spanish language and creating bridges of communication between both markets writing and editing. He was an executive writer for Men's Health Magazine's Spanish language edition and in charge of the editorial coordination of the first publication of Newsweek magazine in Spanish. Having started in 1980, Polo's cartooning career saw his work published in over twenty countries and has won him seven international and seven national prizes in Cuba and two in the United States. His work was exhibited in more than 40 exhibitions around the world, he has been a member of cartoon juries on three occasions. José Polo first joined WittyWorld in 1989, as Cuban Editor, since 1991 has been the Spanish Language Editor of WittyWorld until 2007.
