About
Kia ora! I'm Matt Haynes, an independent graphic artist and musician based in Christchurch, New Zealand. I’ve been creating digital art since the 2020 lockdowns — a time that sparked a new creative journey for me and deepened my love for vibrant design and visual storytelling.
My work draws inspiration from the beauty of the cosmos, the quiet mystery of silhouettes, and the dreamlike transitions between sky and space. Most of my pieces come to life with folk or Lofi music playing in the background — soundtracks that echo the themes of stillness, space, and subtle emotion that I try to replicate through my art.
Whether you're looking for a unique gift or something to brighten up your own space, I hope you find something here that speaks to you.
Thanks for visiting and supporting independent art!
- Matt
