About
No one loves the viola more than I do. When I was in grade school in Lubbock, Texas, a group of musicians came to demonstrate instruments for us. I had heard many classical recordings from when I was very young, but that was the first time I heard the viola live. I fell in love with it right then. I was actually shocked that any of the other children chose the violin or cello, since, obviously, the viola was the most beautiful. That is how I became a violist.
I learned graphic design while working to promote the Beethoven Festival Park City, Utah's longest running classical music festival. My husband, clarinetist Russell Harlow and I direct the Festival from our home in Park City, Utah.
