Sam Werczler

Born in 1981 in São Paulo, Brazil. He started to draw with nine years old, inspired by comics histories. As a teenager he was already creating his owns histories with friends. After 5 years of comics study he create many stories with nankin and a lot freedom. This freedom created the will to learn new art techniques. That’s when he started to study fine arts. He graduated in fine arts at Escola Panamericana de Arte (São Paulo) and at NYU (New York). Graduated in advertising & marketing with the grand prix award at ESPM in 2004, he combined his artistic knowledge on his work in advertising. Worked in ad agencies for 8 years in São Paulo as an Art director and in 2011 he started his on studio to provide a better service for clients. He specialized in illustration, graphic design, webdesign and art direction works having as trademarks a mixture of his comic style and psychedelics and surreal design.
