I’m a retired military creative who grew up in the 70s and 80s — back when mixtapes mattered, malls were social events, and sarcasm was practically a second language. I was born in ’67, so I’ve lived through big hair, bigger shoulder pads, arcade tokens, cassette tapes, and the early days of “you’ve got mail.” Nostalgia isn’t a trend for me. It’s lived-in. After years of structure, service, and schedules, I leaned fully into the creative side of who I’ve always been. Memory Mercantile is where those two worlds meet — discipline and design, grit and humor, history and heart. Everything here is inspired by the eras that shaped us. A little retro. A little bold. Sometimes sentimental. Sometimes slightly sarcastic. Always made with intention.
